Larkability Reflections · Special edition
Down the AI Rabbit Hole
Special edition · Two audio conversations

A special edition of Reflections in which I reverse the usual roles and interview ChatGPT about artificial intelligence and our experience working together.
For the other Reflections, ChatGPT interviews me about my ideas and writing. This time, I become the interviewer.
No rehearsed answers. No scripted dialogue. Just a spontaneous conversation, including the possibility of surprises, disagreements and unexpected directions.
About 18 months ago, I started experimenting with ChatGPT.
Since then, we've had hundreds of conversations, worked through ideas, written articles, solved problems and even built software.
So today, I'm doing something a little different.
I've prepared some questions, but ChatGPT hasn't seen them.
And I think I'll start by asking something I've been curious about … What do people misunderstand most about conversational AI?
Two conversations, two perspectives
First, I turn the questions towards ChatGPT. Then we swap roles. These two recordings explore AI and our creative collaboration from both sides: how technology used at enormous scale can feel so personal, one conversation at a time.
